Where have I come from, Where am I now, Where I hope to be.
I have come from a pretty humble background, playing sports like rugby, basketball and riding bikes for fun. I have played basketball for my school and love the sport. I have ridden bikes since my 5th birthday, where I got on my bike and just went. Over the years I have got better and better and then found that this is really fun to do with mates and decided to start getting lessons and embarked on racing. I have raced for both myself and my school. To my surprise I am doing pretty well, and really the rest is history. (That's what they all say.) Expert In Having Fun
I have been riding bikes since my 5th birthday. I got a bike for my 4th birthday but told my parents that I would not ride it till I was 5 and on that day I got on it and rode it. I have ridden bikes from then on. It was never a dream to ride bikes at the start but as I got older and started to get bigger bikes and watch people racing I really wanted to try and make it my a profession.
I played basketball as my main sport for 5 years and won a number of awards through that. I attended Tauranga Waldorf School of the first 9 years of my education and won the Lions awarded for community service (or head-boy) in my last year.
In my last year of my intermediate my best mate and I were chosen to make coffees for all the teachers in the school. We had to leave 10 minutes early to make sure they got them on time. By the end of the year we were leaving around 1/2 an hour early just to make sure they had them for the end of the break.
We where making around 15 barista coffees by the end of it. Even though there was some days where it was just me by the end we where working like 1. So if you are looking for a boy who has grown up playing 5 sports and was struggling in class until he found that he could do it then you have found him. Thats me!
WHERE AM I NOW
At the present time I am racing for both my school and myself. I am specializing in Cross-Country and Enduro, I have found quite a lot of successes with both including a 7th at north islands and a Win for the school in relay with 2 of my mates. I also got a 15th placing after a big crash the day after. I have other top 10's under my belt and with school nationals coming up another chance to get some more experience. Along with Mountain biking I also, coach for Tauranga and play basketball for Tauranga and my school. As I buy my own bikes I referee basketball for ages 10-18 and coach ages 8-11.
IN THE FUTURE
As you can probably tell I love bikes. I have ridden them since I was small and I want to ride them till I grow old. I have done quite a few projects on a future in this profession, and after may last one I came to the conclusion that I don't want to do anything else. If that is racing or mechanic and videographer, I want to be in and around this sport. I want to go in to a "work place" where I don't feel like I am working. Don't get me wrong I know that I am going to have to work really F***ing hard to achieve this but as you will see in the next pages, if I want something I am willing to work for it.  So the end goal for me is working in this sport. I want to go more to the endure side but I am not shutting out any opportunities that come my way.
